Whether you're looking for a career change or to make some extra cash, Zumba is the right move. So let's look at how to become a Zumba Instructor.
How Do I Become A Zumba Instructor
An exercise fitness programme created by Colombian dancer/cyclist Alberto "Beto" Perez, Zumba has taken the world by storm. With many different types of classes, there's something for everyone! But how do you become an instructor?
Is There a Demand?
It sure seems like it! Zumba even claims that simply by being an instructor, you can create more demand; as the word spreads, more people will come.
Everyone wants to get fit (well, we all say we want to. Whether or not we actually follow through is another story) and that means that there sure is demand for Zumba instructors.
Are the any prerequisites?
Zumba says no, but they do advise that you take at least one Zumba class before taking the training, though it is by no means necessary! All you need is to be 18 or over; you'll pick up the rest along the way.
So how do I do it?
Head on over to Zumba.com to find out when the next training course near you takes place. All you need to do is register and you can book your slot.
When can I start teaching?
You can start your work as a Zumba instructor pretty much as soon as you have your certificate. You may need to take some time to prepare your classes, choosing the right music to use and such, but once that's done, you're all set!
Think that being a Zumba instructor is a good career choice? Will you be signing up for the training? Let us know in the comments below!
